O2 Tracks UK Top 40 – Interactive Digital 6 Sheet with audio

O2 ran a series of interactive  digital 6 sheets that mimicked the functionality of the new O2 Tracks app.

Members of the public could use the screens to  listen to the current Top 40 via three headphone jacks (for malls and roadside) or inbuilt speakers (in cinema foyers). The top 40 was updated each Monday morning.

The creative contained a simple “text to download”  call to action which enabled the public to download the app on the spot to their mobile device.

Sony Mobile NFC-enabled Sound Showers

A recent campaign by Sony Mobile invited the public to listen to a specially-mixed music track with perfect clarity in the centre of busy shopping malls, and download it directly to a mobile device.

Innovative ‘SoundShowers’ diminished ambient noise, whilst amplifying the specially-mixed track from music producer Benga to anyone who stood in front of the poster.

Additionally, participants could download the song by swiping a smartphone over the attached NFC/QR code-enabled touch point.

The experience reinforced the association of innovative technology with Sony, and demonstrated the potential of NFC-enabled smartphones to the public.
